We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a fast-paced and collaborative supply chain team. This role focuses on purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory optimization to ensure smooth operations and excellent service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate daily replenishment orders (internal or external) to support distribution centers, regional hubs, and branch locations.
- Issue ad hoc purchase orders for non-standard or on-demand products.
- Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies using forecasting tools (such as Slim4) within your assigned portfolio.
- Identify and implement stock redistribution opportunities both regionally and nationally.
- Work closely with demand planning and purchasing teams to fine-tune forecasts and inventory parameters to maintain high service levels while managing stock investment effectively.
- Develop and sustain vendor relationships to anticipate and address supply chain issues or delays.
- Recommend supply path optimizations to enhance efficiency, service fill rates, inventory control, profitability, and compliance.
- Maintain a strong service mindset and effective communication with internal teams, branches, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or purchasing within a dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with ERP forecasting platforms; knowledge of Slim4 is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in English; bilingualism in French is a strong asset.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Understanding of inventory management practices and warehouse processes.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in team settings and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong sense of initiative.
- CSCMP certification is considered an advantage.
- Focused on results, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
