Join Our Team as a Temporary Receptionist/Administrative Assistant!
Fuze HR is currently seeking a Temporary Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for an in-person role in Kelowna, BC. This position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, located at McCurdy Place, Kelowna, BC.
About the Role:
As a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing administrative support and assisting with invoicing tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment and has strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle service invoicing and accounts receivable invoice preparation
- Answer and direct phone calls, screening when necessary
- Greet and assist visitors and clients, including small part purchases
- Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate office equipment maintenance
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Sage 300 experience is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Prior administrative or reception experience is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally
