We are actively recruiting for a 2nd Class Operating Engineer to join our dedicated team.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Engineer, your responsibilities include:

  • Safe operation and maintenance of the power plant and related equipment, including steam and electric distribution.
  • Leading and participating in special projects to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Maintaining and enhancing plant safety programs.
  • Supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Maintenance Excellence processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications:
    • 2nd Class Operating Engineer certification registered in Ontario.
    • 3rd Class certification actively pursuing 2nd Class will be considered.
  • Experience: Strong background in the operation and maintenance of steam-related equipment within a team environment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Boiler and Pressure Vessel codes, Operating Engineers Act, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance systems.
    • Exceptional teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (rotating days and nights).
