Print Machine Operators

Fuze HR is seeking dedicated and reliable Machine Operators to join a leading company in the financial services industry. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive work environment. This role is fulltime permanent opportunity, we cannot accommodate Students or work permit holders looking for sponsorship for PR.

Location: Markham – Woodbine Avenue and 14th Avenue

Employment Type: Temporary with potential for Temp-to-Permanent

Shift Details:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday

Candidates must also be flexible and willing to transition to one of the following workweeks, if required:

• Sunday to Thursday (Friday and Saturday off)
• Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday and Monday off)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Pitney Bowes Productivity Family Series inserters (training provided for various models).
• Learn and adapt to minor differences in machine functionality, such as how inserts are loaded, navigating consoles, and paper-loading mechanisms.
• Maintain production targets and ensure the quality of output.
• Follow workplace safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment as required.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines.

Machinery Details:

Operators will work with the Pitney Bowes Productivity Family Series inserters, which share a common platform and operating system. While the specific models on-site may vary, candidates will receive comprehensive training to familiarize themselves with different machines. The variations between machines may include:

• Loading Process: Differences in how inserts and paper are loaded.
• Navigation: Variations in console navigation.
• Performance: Speed capabilities of the machine models.

Prior experience with similar inserter models is beneficial but not mandatory, as the training will cover all necessary operational details.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on business needs.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to workplace safety.

Compensation:

Pay rate will be discussed during the interview process base on candidate experience. Fuze HR will update applicants on salary details following further input from the client.
