I am currently looking for a rare gem to fill a permanent service technician position in the Greater Vancouver area for a company specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of industrial machinery.

As a service technician in the Greater Vancouver area, your upcoming responsibilities will include:

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
• Troubleshooting and adjustment of mechanical and electrical systems
• Machinery inspection
• Documentation of inspections and work performed
• Handling of industrial equipment and their components
• Project estimation
• Technical advice
• Plans and specifications for service clients
• Truck inventory management

Here is the desired profile for the service technician position in the Greater Vancouver area:

• DEP in Electromechanics
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electromechanic or in a similar role
• Technical skills and manual dexterity
• Excellent sense and approach to customer service
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Availability for service calls in the evening and/or on weekends as needed (once a month)
• Good stress management skills
