We are currently searching for a Maintenance Millwright in the Mississauga area to be part of our client’s team of professionals. As the Maintenance Millwright, you will be in charge of performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on automated material handling machinery, in addition to the following duties…

Your tasks as the Maintenance Millwright:

• Perform the reactionary and preventative maintenance of large material handling equipment (conveyor systems, lifting systems, cradle systems)
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain PLC controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Some work to be performed in confined spaces and working at heights

The required qualifications for the industrial Millwright position:

• Must have three (3) or more years’ experience as an Industrial Millwright with experience maintaining and troubleshooting large industrial machinery
• Must have your own tool set, uniforms are provided
• Must be experienced in repairing and troubleshooting PLC control, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Must have prior experience with large industrial material handling equipment an asset
• Must be in good physical shape and able to walk for long periods of time, lift and move heavy parts during machinery repairs
• Capable of working well under pressure and in stressful situations
• Able to multi-task and prioritize
• Must be comfortable working independently and to be on call for overtime purposes
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word), will be filling out work orders on a computer
• Must be a hard worker as well as a team player
• Must be able work well under pressure and stressful/time sensitive situations as well as an independent worker
