We are currently seeking motivated Packaging associates to join our team for a large Medical produce Manufacturer located in Ancaster, Ontario. This exciting opportunity would suit anyone who enjoys working with their hands or if you are looking to learn new skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Ensure safe work conditions and practices as outlined in the company Safety, Health & Environmental policies.

·Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Good Production Practices (GPP).

·Weigh and package products according to SOPs, ensuring accurate weights and record keeping.

·Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.

·Maintain an on-hand inventory of packaging supplies and ensure it is sufficient to meet the demand.

·Clean and sanitize packaging rooms and equipment in compliance with SOPs.

·Participate in Inventory Counts, as needed.

·Understand and operate label software and printers.

·Perform all duties according to SOP, GMP and all other established safety standards and company policy.

Qualifications:

·Knowledge with GPP and GMP is preferred.

·Previous experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing packaging environment.

·Interpersonal skills are required for daily interactions with shop floor personnel.

·Manual functions require good hand / eye co-ordination.

·Position requires standing, lifting and walking throughout the day.

Working Conditions:

·This is a greenhouse working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity.

Physical Requirements:

·Manual functions require good hand / eye co-ordination.

·Position requires standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the day.

·May be required to work on weekends and during holidays, from time to time.
