Fabrication Welder (MIG & TIG)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a metal fabrication welder. The successful candidate would be Independent, focused, and processing the characteristics outlined below. Further the candidate should be prepared to demonstrate their skills in our facility.
The job of the Welder – Will weld but not limited to metal components such has pump frames, skid frames, ladders, platforms, handrail and tanks, working in Carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminum.

- Hours: Mon-Thurs 7:30 am – 5 pm, Fri 7:30 am – 11:30 am
- Salary: $28-30 per hour permanent, full time, overtime as required

Description,
Welder will weld metal components such has pump frames, skid frames, ladders, platforms, handrail and tanks, working in Carbon steel, stainless steel & aluminum.
Required Knowledge and skills
- Certificate of Qualification or diploma for welding is preferred (But will considered experienced and Tenured professionals)
- MIG & TIG experience (Will be tested)
- Able to weld stainless steel and carbon steel in FCAW, MCAW, GMAW
- CWB certification in FCAW, MCAW or GMAW
- Independent thinking , understanding the demands required of the team, providing assistance
- as required to meet the changing demands of the product line
- Self-starter with the ability to weld and clean finished products in an accordance to drawings, specification and approved welding procedures
- Able to read and work of blue prints and fabrication drawings, Schematics
- Have an understanding of weld symbols
- Up to date overhead and forklift certification is an asset
- Ability to adapt and change to meet off standard conditions
- Demonstrated ability to use out of the box thinking to build / fabricate metal projects.
- Must have good attitude and understand that safety always comes first.
- Wood working skills would be an asset.
- Must have experience with hand tools, grinders
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in welding Mig & Tig
- Mechanical assembly aptitude
