Fuze HR is currently seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a well-established client in Toronto. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized professional to take ownership of daily shipping and receiving activities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute daily shipping and receiving operations.
- Prepare and manage shipping/receiving documents including bills of lading, packing slips, customs paperwork, and internal reports.
- Communicate with carriers to obtain freight quotes and schedule timely pickups/deliveries.
- Conduct inventory counts, manage inventory levels, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Oversee and maintain CHEP pallet inventory and records.
- Verify all incoming/outgoing shipments and report any damages or mismatches.
- Carry out packaging duties per customer specifications and ensure on-time completion.
- Submit daily shipping and receiving reports, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Provide physical support with warehouse tasks when required (lifting up to 40 lbs).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving or dispatcher role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging.
- Forklift certification (Counterbalance and/or Reach) is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with ERP or TMS software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CHEP pallet systems is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of handling warehouse duties (lifting up to 40 lbs).
