Maintenance Technician- (Permanent Resident Must)
Location: Airport Road, Brampton, ON
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) OR Afternoons (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $28–$35/hour (Based on Experience)

About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced production facility in Brampton. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering competitive pay and room for growth. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, experienced in industrial maintenance, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Support production line setup, changeovers, and equipment adjustments
- Diagnose breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Fabricate basic parts and make modifications as required
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Complete maintenance documentation and work orders
- Assist with building and facility maintenance
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systems
- Proficiency using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeter/VOM)
- Basic computer skills for reporting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in corrugated packaging or converting manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with PLCs, drive controllers, or automated systems
- Fabrication or machine modification experience (Candidates from other manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.)
