The Opportunity
Test Engineer or Technician with a hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration equipment. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the core development team, essentially leading initial construction of prototype products, while cross-functionally contributing to continued product improvement. This is truly a key role offering a unique opportunity to influence and contribute to first-hand to innovative new refrigeration system designs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and contribute to initial design concepts with Engineering team
- Build and evaluate new equipment designs with hands-on perspective
- Provide feedback to Design Engineers during initial prototype construction and testing
- Recommend and specify appropriate tools and resources as needed
- Advise and improve end-of-line testing procedures for improving quality and throughput
- Prepare test reports while maintaining compliance with all applicable certification standards
Desired Experience
- Demonstrated 5+ years experience building and/or troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/control systems
- Demonstrated 5+ years experience with testing and evaluation of refrigerant-charged products
- Any experience with design and testing of products using natural and A2L refrigerants
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office family of products
Education (One or more of the following)
- Mechanical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering Degree preferred
- Refrigeration or Mechanical Technology Diploma
- 313A or 313D Licensed
