Known for innovative solutions and advanced technologies, they are seeking a passionate System Technician to join their Competence Technical Team for the Welding Solutions segment in Ontario.

Role Overview:
The System Technician – Welding Solutions supports sales and technical teams by providing expertise in robotic, automated, and manual welding systems. The role includes hands-on installation, troubleshooting, training, and customer support across Ontario and Canada, with occasional travel to the USA and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the sales process by configuring welding systems and providing technical expertise to customers and partners.

Deliver technical presentations and act as the system expert.

Design robotic welding cells for manufacturing applications.

Perform installation, retrofit, and onsite repair of robotic and manual welding equipment.

Conduct training sessions for employees and customers, particularly for new product launches.

Document and report market trends, customer feedback, and competitor insights.

Participate in trade shows and provide technical support during events.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology.

Strong understanding of digitally controlled inverter-based electronics.

Experience with robotic interfaces and welding systems is an asset.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently or as part of a team.

Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively throughout Canada, USA, and Europe.
