What You’ll Do
-
Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial piping and mechanical systems
-
Install and assemble valves, fittings, and piping systems
-
Fabricate and connect piping components and equipment
-
Perform preventative maintenance and system troubleshooting
-
Operate forklift to move parts and materials
-
Read blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications
-
Participate in ongoing safety and technical training
What You Bring
-
Valid Ontario 307A Steamfitter Certificate of Qualification
-
2–5 years of industrial steamfitter/pipefitter experience
-
Welding experience (CWB certification is an asset)
-
Experience with mechanical systems, piping, and troubleshooting
-
Ability to read technical drawings and work safely in industrial environments
-
Familiarity with CMMS systems, GMP, or HACCP is an asset
