Shop Mechanic

Do you have the ability to easily understand plans, specifications and machine assembly sketches? Do you know how to adapt to numerous technological changes and are you extremely passionate about industrial mechanics? If the answer is yes, this is the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a rare pearl to occupy a permanent daytime industrial mechanic position in Vancouver for a company specializing in the industrial maintenance.

Compensation and Perks:

• Base salary of $62K – $74K
• Performance bonus
• Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Group insurance after 3 months paid 100% by the employer

Your Responsibilities:

• Installation, assembly, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
• Troubleshooting and adjustment of mechanical and electrical systems
• Workshop work (cutting, drilling, tapping, etc.)
• Handling of industrial equipment and their components
• Plan and create estimates for service customers
• Maintenance of customer relations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in hydraulic, electrical and mechanical
• Have technical skills, as well as manual dexterity
• Good stress management
