About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SFA Team Lead to join our dynamic FP&A team. Reporting directly to the Manager, FP&A, this individual will play a critical role in driving business performance through insightful financial planning, analysis, and leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong FP&A background—not general accounting—and thrives in a manufacturing or fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust financial models, forecasts, and costing/scenario analysis models.
- Analyze product profitability using financial data and tools.
- Summarize complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Compile and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Lead efforts to streamline month-end reporting and analysis processes.
- Deliver timely, accurate monthly financial analysis for leadership review.
- Mentor and support junior analysts; provide guidance on complex analytical tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new systems and processes.
- Contribute to strategic business decisions through in-depth analysis and recommendations.
- Support training and onboarding of new finance team members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership or mentorship capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA designation required.
- Proven expertise in FP&A and working within a manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends, variances, and business opportunities.
