Our client, a reputable company within the Transportation Industry, is actively hiring an experienced and certified Senior Financial Analyst to join their team! The company is located in Bolton and is on-site full time. This is a critical support role working as a member of the FP&A team, and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance in their career.

Role Overview

This role will complete complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis on key business information and drivers. The Senior Financial Analyst is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A.

What you can expect in this role:

·Monthly Financial Analysis and Reporting

·Preparing Costing Models along with Variance analysis and reporting

·Month-End closing activities and reporting

·Compile, analyze and distribute summary information relating to KPI’s

·Financial Planning & Budgeting

·Reconciliation of Bank, Account, G/L

·Assist in implementations

·Other duties assigned

The required qualifications of Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Capable of adapting to change
  • Self Starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Financial reporting experience in manufacturing or transportation sector is required
  • CPA designation is required to qualify for this position
  • CMA designation is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to work using SQL Server
  • Proficiency with Advanced level excel
  • Experience working with a Warehouse Management System and/or Transportation Management Software is considered an asset
