Red Seal Machinist (Manual) | $47 – $50 Per Hour

Red Seal Millwrights and/or Manual Machinists, we’re looking for you!! Do you have a knack for making old machinery work like new?! Do you have expert mechanical maintenance skills? The Machinist/Millwright will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing/replacing a broad variety of industrial mechanical equipment and systems
• Perform predictive/preventative maintenance according to PM schedule and maintaining accurate records of completed work
• Assembling and disassembling machinery, removing, repairing or fabricating new parts as required.
• Working with millwrights and other maintenance staff to ensure plant & all processing equipment is in safe, operational order 24/7
• Assist other teams/departments as necessary

The required qualifications for the Millwright/Machinist are:

• Red Seal Millwright trade qualification OR Machinist RSE with strong mechanical maintenance abilities and experience
• 2-3 years of mechanical maintenance experience within a relevant industrial or production environment
• Welding and fabricating skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Strong communication skills, ability to work well as part of a team
