We are currently looking for a Red Seal Electrician to work at a manufacturing plant in Coquitlam. This is a full-time position permanent position with amazing benefits!
The successful candidate will be working on a night shift, Sunday to Thursday (10pm to 6:30am)
Strong preference will be given to candidates who are registered with the Technical Safety BC (TSBC) as a 4th Class or 3rd Class Power Engineer. Candidates holding this certification will be highly prioritized in our selection process, as this qualification is considered a significant asset for the role.

Your tasks:
• Lead projects and install new equipment as required
• Install and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and wiring
• Perform routine electrical maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on large industrial machines e.g. packaging, mixing, conveyors
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• Operate scissor lifts to safely access and work in elevated areas
• Collaborate with other trades to foster a team-oriented environment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• working on light fixtures, switches, heating systems, and general building functionality.
Requirements:
• Red Seal ticketed Electrician with at least 3 years of experience within commercial and industrial
• Power Engineering 4th Class (preferred)
• Knowledge of HVAC systems (preferred, but not required)
• Valid driver’s license (occasionally required to drive to other sites at times e.g. Burnaby, Coquitlam)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Multi-skilled background including experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, structural, and piping
