Are you a high-energy and organized individual with experience in Quality Control Management? We are looking for a QA Manager for a packaging manufacturing plant located in Langley (with multiple sites in North America). This full‑time role will lead quality, food safety, and process improvement in manufacturing at a growing company.
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, fully onsite
Location: Langley
Compensation:
- $95K to $105K base salary

Responsibilities:
- Lead quality initiatives and resolve customer quality issues
- Oversee inspection, testing, and product quality standards
- Analyze data to set and maintain quality and reliability expectations
- Support Production and Operations with technical and statistical guidance
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and improvement goals
- Align production processes with quality and cost objectives
- Implement inspection criteria and testing protocols across production
- Investigate root causes and drive corrective actions
- Work with vendors to ensure material and component quality
- Lead environmental testing as needed
- Support continuous improvement efforts
- Deliver quality training to employees
- Oversee and maintain the GMP/GFSI systems and Food Safety Program
- Control and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications:
- At 4+ years of experience in Quality Control Management within food/packaging industry
- BSc/BA/BEng in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, or post-secondary education in a related field
- Strong experience with GMP and GFSI
- Holding a QC Certificate such as ISO 9000, HACCP, GFSI are considered assets
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma principles
- Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification would be an asset
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to travel
