Are you a driven, forward-thinking leader with a passion for operational excellence? We’re looking for an experienced Production Manager to take charge of our manufacturing site operations in Brampton. In this high-impact leadership role, you’ll be responsible for aligning plant performance with organizational goals through strategic oversight of manufacturing processes, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You’ll work cross-functionally to enhance efficiency, foster a culture of safety and accountability, and drive innovation—all while empowering your team to deliver their best every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Champion Safety First: Lead with a strong commitment to health and safety, ensuring full compliance across the plant while fostering a culture of accountability and well-being.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Manage key manufacturing metrics and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or efficiency.
- Lead & Inspire Teams: Build, coach, and mentor high-performing teams. Foster a culture that values continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional growth.
- Optimize Production Strategy: Play a critical role in supporting our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including capacity planning, inventory optimization, and successful new product rollouts.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with HR, Sales, Quality, Product Development, and other manufacturing sites to streamline operations and drive strategic goals.
- Improve Continuously: Lead efforts in process improvement, waste reduction, and lean manufacturing principles to enhance plant performance and profitability.
- Ensure Quality Compliance: Partner with quality and sales teams to deliver top-tier products, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and industry standards.
- Plan for the Future: Anticipate resource needs and align team capacity with production forecasts and long-term business objectives.
What You Bring to the Table
- 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or operations.
- Strong grasp of planning, scheduling, and executing in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead and grow high-performance teams.
- Experience with S&OP processes and inventory/demand planning.
- Solid knowledge of plant safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
