Our ideal candidate is someone who can lead transformation and foster accountability across a complex operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a strong culture of workplace safety by upholding and advancing corporate HSE standards
- Deliver effective, motivational leadership across plant operations, emphasizing collaboration and employee morale
- Identify, develop, and retain high-performing staff through targeted recruitment, training programs, and performance oversight
- Ensure operational excellence by meeting or exceeding benchmarks in efficiency, cost, quality, scheduling, and ongoing improvement
- Lead Lean Manufacturing practices and integrate globally recognized systems such as Six Sigma
- Track, report, and act on key performance indicators to maintain productivity and operational alignment
- Continuously assess and optimize organizational structure and staffing to match business demands and future growth
Qualifications and Competencies
- At least 5 years of leadership experience within a high volume manufacturing environment
- Proven success overseeing manufacturing operations, including quality, inventory, and process optimization initiatives
- Deep understanding of Lean principles and CI methodologies, with hands-on application in plant settings
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, or Business; an MBA is considered an asset
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of improving financial and operational performance
- High proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables) and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Approachable, team-oriented leader with excellent communication and organizational capabilities
- Ability to evaluate complex systems and introduce meaningful improvements without compromising day-to-day output
