Operations Technician – Electrician

Location: Ancaster (travel to Mississauga & Stratford)

Pay: $40–$45/hour

Flexible shifts | Overtime available

What You’ll Be Doing: We are actively interviewing for Operations Technician – Electrician to join our clients maintenance team to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and controls for manufacturing, including 45–800 ton presses, grinding, and sintering processes.

· Installing, calibrating, and maintaining Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)

· Diagnosing and repairing electrical malfunctions in equipment and circuits

· Conducting preventative maintenance and keeping accurate maintenance records

· Testing electrical equipment for safety and efficiency

· Performing major repairs on motors, wiring, and associated controls

· Supporting press rebuilds, major breakdowns, and plant projects

· Ensuring all work complies with safety standards, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and company policies

· Electrical/Electronic trade certification

· 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience (automotive preferred)

· Strong PLC experience required

· Knowledge of presses (Cincinnati, Dorst, SMS), pneumatics, grinding, and heat treatment processes preferred

· Independent, self-motivated troubleshooter and problem solver

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems an asset

· Exposure to noise, heights, confined spaces, metalworking fluids, and varying temperatures

· Ability to climb, lift, crouch, and operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment

· Willingness to work 12-hour day/night shifts, overtime, weekends, and travel between plants

· Competitive pay $40–$45/hr
