Merchandise Allocator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandise Allocator to support the distribution of new, replenishment, and promotional merchandise across store locations. This role plays a critical part in maximizing sales and profitability by ensuring the right products are in the right stores, at the right time, and in the right quantities.

· Oversee the allocation of merchandise based on sales performance, store profiles, and inventory needs.

· Analyze sales and inventory trends to optimize product flow and maximize store potential.

· Collaborate closely with the Buying and Planning teams to align allocation strategies with assortment plans.

· Identify fast-selling categories and adjust allocations accordingly to ensure stock availability.

· Monitor stock levels and initiate inventory transfers when necessary to balance store needs.

· Generate and interpret sales and performance reports (e.g., category analysis, sales ranking reports) and communicate findings to key stakeholders.

· Coordinate with the warehouse and distribution center to ensure smooth inbound and outbound merchandise flow.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Previous experience in merchandise planning or allocation is considered an asset.

Nous recherchons un(e) Allocateur(trice) de marchandises rigoureux(se) et analytique pour assurer la distribution efficace des produits neufs, réapprovisionnés et promotionnels dans les magasins. Ce poste est essentiel pour maximiser les ventes et la rentabilité en garantissant que chaque point de vente reçoit les bons produits, au bon moment et en bonne quantité.

· Gérer l’allocation des produits selon la performance des ventes, les profils de magasins et les niveaux d’inventaire.

· Analyser les tendances de ventes et d’inventaire pour optimiser la distribution des produits.

· Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes des achats et de la planification pour aligner les stratégies d’allocation avec les plans d’assortiment.

· Identifier les catégories à forte rotation et ajuster les envois de marchandises en conséquence.

· Assurer un niveau d’inventaire suffisant dans chaque magasin afin de maximiser le potentiel de vente.

· Analyser et exécuter divers rapports (classement des ventes par catégorie, analyses de performance) et partager les informations pertinentes avec les équipes concernées.

· Travailler en collaboration avec l’entrepôt et le centre de distribution pour assurer un flux logistique fluide.

· Fortes compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes.

· Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique.

· Maîtrise d’Excel et des outils d’analyse de données.

· Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en travail d’équipe.

· Une expérience en planification ou en allocation de marchandises est un atout.
