What are some of the responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:

• Part of the new product development team you will be responsible for design, build, operate and maintain testing rigs

• Develop and implement test plans and process documentation for new and existing products

• Perform testing and provide evaluation for findings

• Work with the leadership to determine if each project needs new or existing material to manufacture parts

• Perform assembly and installation of all prototypes and troubleshoot any issues

• Work with the team and management to ensure all projects are following the outlined timelines

The required qualifications of the Mechanical Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineer/mechanical technologist position where development, design and being hands on were the main focus

• Experience with PLC controls and electrical systems is preferred

• Strong background with SolidWorks is a must

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must

• Hands on with boots on the group attitude is a must
