Job Summary
As our Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the resort's facilities and grounds are well-maintained and in excellent condition to support our guests' experiences. You will oversee a team of maintenance professionals and be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our resort's infrastructure, equipment, and outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, plumbers, and groundskeepers
– Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to proactively identify and address issues
– Coordinate and oversee all maintenance, repair, and renovation projects across the resort
– Ensure the resort's facilities, equipment, and grounds meet all safety, health, and regulatory standards
– Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of necessary supplies and materials
– Collaborate with other department heads to identify and address maintenance-related needs
– Provide excellent customer service and responsiveness to guest and staff requests
Qualifications
– 5+ years of experience in a maintenance management or leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
– Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
– Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
– Ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals
– Strong communication and customer service orientation
– Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred
