Position Overview: Mechanical Engineer – Calgary or Edmonton
The firm is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including HVAC system design, mechanical equipment assessments, building systems consulting for new construction, depreciation reporting, and warranty reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Project Work
- Assist in the preparation of mechanical construction documents and equipment specifications.
- Conduct on-site mechanical system evaluations and assessments.
- Contribute to technical report writing and project documentation.
- Support project coordination and help ensure efficient, high-quality project delivery.
- Attend client meetings and industry events, maintaining a commitment to exceptional service standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and technical knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical systems design for buildings, including life cycle analysis and cost estimation.
- Registered with, or eligible for registration with, Professional Engineers of Alberta or another provincial engineering regulator.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and client-focused approach.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
