Position Overview: Mechanical Engineer – Calgary or Edmonton
The firm is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including HVAC system design, mechanical equipment assessments, building systems consulting for new construction, depreciation reporting, and warranty reviews.

Technical & Project Work
  • Assist in the preparation of mechanical construction documents and equipment specifications.
  • Conduct on-site mechanical system evaluations and assessments.
  • Contribute to technical report writing and project documentation.
  • Support project coordination and help ensure efficient, high-quality project delivery.
  • Attend client meetings and industry events, maintaining a commitment to exceptional service standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and technical knowledge sharing.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical systems design for buildings, including life cycle analysis and cost estimation.
  • Registered with, or eligible for registration with, Professional Engineers of Alberta or another provincial engineering regulator.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and client-focused approach.
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
