We’re looking for an energetic, forward‑thinking General Manager to take the lead at our industrial reprocessing facility in Prince George! Reporting to the Regional General Manager, this role calls for a strong people leader with a history of delivering exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of facility operations, guide and inspire the team, and cultivate long‑term, growth‑focused relationships with customers throughout the region.
Compensation:
- $120K to $140K base salary

Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership to supervisors and frontline teams to ensure smooth and efficient facility operations.
- Oversees all environmental, health, and safety initiatives to maintain a secure and compliant workplace for employees, customers, and visitors.
- Handles the full scope of HR responsibilities for the facility, including staff development, training programs, and performance oversight.
- Collaborates with upper management to develop operational strategies, considering equipment status, environmental requirements, workflow demands, cost efficiency, and profitability goals.
- Actively seeks out new business opportunities and strengthens existing client relationships to drive increased volume and market presence.
- Evaluates operations to identify areas for improvement and leads efforts to enhance processes and performance.
- Works closely with the corporate business development team and General Managers across company and partner locations to broaden the customer base and expand available services.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of management experience leading all aspects of an operations/distribution business including people management and safety.
- 3+ years’ experience of responsibility for a business unit operating under a profit‑center model.
- Solid operational foundation with hands‑on management exposure to heavy equipment use, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Background in business development with a strong track record of securing new clients and expanding account portfolios.
- Skilled in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing quality enhancement programs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning and working with various software tools.
- Strong relationship‑building abilities, both within the organization and with external partners or customers.
- Post‑secondary education—certificate, diploma, or degree—in a relevant field is an advantage.
- Highly effective team collaborator with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
