Canada’s leading broadband and telecommunications provider supporting mid-market, enterprise, and public sector customers. The Serve team delivers solutions for internal users across Sales and Service Transformation, driving operational and service excellence.
Role Summary
Full-stack software developer accountable for end-to-end delivery across front-end and back-end, API design, databases, and deployment. Expected to learn and contribute to front-end test automation.
Responsibilities
  • Develop front-end architecture and user interactions for web apps.
  • Build back-end services, APIs, servers, and databases.
  • Ensure responsiveness, performance, and reliability.
  • Own features from concept to production.
  • Meet technical and user needs; stay current with modern languages and frameworks.
Must-Have Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years building scalable enterprise systems (telecom preferred).
  • Proven full-stack delivery; strong OOP.
  • Advanced .NET and C#.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience with server-side: .NET, Python, Java.
  • Database experience: MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
  • Microservices and API design.
  • Strong organization, project execution, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
  • JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS, React, Ember.
  • Elasticsearch and MySQL performance tuning.
  • RPA exposure.
  • AI/ML familiarity.
  • BPM tools (e.g., Camunda).
  • Virtualization/Containerization.
  • Agile delivery experience.
  • Bilingualism (English/French).
Ways of Working & Tools
  • Tech: .NET/C#, HTML/CSS/JS, Angular/React/Ember, Python/Java, REST APIs, MySQL/Oracle/MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
  • Patterns: Microservices, API-first, CI/CD (preferred), containerization (preferred).
  • Process: Agile/Scrum (preferred), code reviews, test automation (front-end focus encouraged).
Security / Compliance & Mandatory Training
  • Adherence to corporate security, privacy, and change-management policies.
  • Background checks may be required per client standards.
Working Model & Hours
  • Quebec-based hybrid: 2 days onsite weekly.
  • Occasional evenings/weekends; possible overnight deployments to meet deadlines.
