Service Technician – Forklift & Material Handling Equipment

About the Role
A well-established provider of forklifts and material handling equipment is expanding its service team and hiring Service Technicians.
This position is ideal for technicians who want steady work, strong compensation, and long-term stability—without the chaos of poorly run service departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair electric, propane, and diesel-powered forklifts and material handling equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Rebuild and repair hoisting mechanisms and critical components
- Test, adjust, and fine-tune equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, findings, and equipment condition
- Maintain professional service standards and strong customer relationships
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications & Background
Candidates with any of the following will be considered:
- Direct experience servicing forklifts or material handling equipment (strongly preferred)
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician
- Heavy Equipment Technician
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills combined with mechanical expertise
- Relevant experience in material handling equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial equipment repair
You do not need every qualification listed — demonstrated hands-on ability matters more than titles.
