Service Technician – Forklift & Material Handling Equipment

📍 Location: Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area (GTHA)

💰 Pay: Up to $48.00 per hour (based on experience)

⏳ Hours: 42.5 per week

Are you a skilled technician looking for a stable and rewarding career? We hiring for a trusted dealer and service provider of forklifts and material handling equipment.. To support this growing company, we are looking for both shop-based and mobile technicians to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electric, propane, and diesel-powered forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and system troubleshooting.
• Identify and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
• Communicate with customers about completed work and equipment condition.
• Rebuild and repair hoisting mechanisms and other key components.
• Test and fine-tune equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Maintain a professional attitude and deliver top-notch customer service.

Qualifications:

We welcome candidates with ANY of the following experience or certifications:

✔ Forklift/material handling equipment experience (preferred)

✔ Licensed millwright

✔ Licensed automotive technician

✔ Heavy equipment technician

✔ Strong electrical skills paired with mechanical expertise

✔ Relevant experience in automotive or heavy equipment repair
