Final Product Verifier for Carbon Steel Plate Processor
Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Final Product Verifier for our Carbon Steel Plate processing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of incoming, in-process and all final products before they are shipped to our customers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of carbon steel grades and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Quality Verification: Inspect and verify the quality of final carbon steel products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- In-Process Inspection Verification: Conduct and verify in-process inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards throughout the production process.
- Documentation Verification: Check and verify all final product documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Shipment Compliance: Ensure all outgoing shipments comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Production Documentation Approval: Verify and approve production-related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Outsourced Services Tracking: Monitor and track the quality of products and services provided by outsourced vendors.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the verification process and implement solutions to enhance quality control.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Overhead Crane Operation: Proficient in operating overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
- Forklift Operation: Skilled in operating forklifts to move and manage products.
- Measuring Tools Proficiency: Experienced in using measuring tapes and thickness gauges to verify product dimensions.
- Knowledge of Carbon Steel Grades: Familiar with various carbon steel grades and their specifications.
- Material Test Reports (MTR): Ability to interpret and understand Material Test Reports and test results.
- Blueprint Reading: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure product specifications are met.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying product quality and documentation.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely verification of products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality Control Experience: Previous experience in a quality control or verification role.
- Technical Certification: Relevant technical certifications in quality control or related fields.
