Role & Responsibilities
As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for on-site installation and support of fleet management systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- On-site system installation on:
- Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
- Vehicles
- Heavy and industrial equipment
- Working in environments such as:
- Airports
- Seaports
- Industrial sites
- Performing technical tasks including:
- Cable pulling
- Drilling and screwing
- Mechanical disassembly of industrial machines
- Collaborating with US and European teams, including:
- Sales
- Product
- Engineering
- Technical Support
Skills & Experience Required
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and schematics
- Proficiency with electrical measuring devices (e.g., multimeter)
- Basic knowledge of electronics
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Comfortable using computers and common tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with customers
- Ability to work remotely with a European-based company, including managing time zone differences
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in environments such as:
- Logistics
- Railroads
- Equipment manufacturing
- Military or similar technical fields
