About the Role
Our client in the GTA is looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants to take full ownership of technical projects from concept to completion. You will lead the engineering and technical elements of assigned projects coordinating with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales to deliver high-performing products that exceed customer expectations. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you will design, test, troubleshoot, support manufacturing, manage risk, and ultimately bring cutting-edge solutions to market.

What You’ll Do
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams throughout all project phases.
- Create engineering designs aligned with customer specifications, industry standards, and internal design philosophies.
- Support design, prototyping, testing, and product development initiatives.
- Ensure product compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical support to manufacturing and production teams.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation: design revisions, BOMs, W/Os (SYSPRO), reports, change logs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate product test samples with regulatory agencies and customers.
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Deliver regular updates and presentations to management and project stakeholders.
- Support Sales & Marketing with technical insights and customer-facing presentations.
- Contribute to project closure activities, including lessons-learned documentation.
About You

- A 4-year university degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and quality control practices.
- Experience developing engineering designs, project plans, and technical documents.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong analytical skills able to break down complex problems and provide clear recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
