About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Treasury and M&A to join our senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will lead and execute strategic treasury and cash management functions across our Canadian and U.S. divisions. In addition, they will oversee mergers and acquisitions activity as directed by the CEO and Board of Directors.

In addition, they will oversee mergers and acquisitions activity as directed by the CEO and Board of Directors.
This role requires a strategic thinker who is comfortable navigating complex financial landscapes and managing relationships with external banking partners. The Director will also play a critical role in driving enterprise-wide strategy, leading change initiatives, and influencing key decision-makers across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute treasury strategies to optimize cash flow and liquidity for both Canadian and U.S. operations
- Lead M&A efforts, including due diligence, deal structuring, and integration planning
- Build and manage strong relationships with banking institutions and other financial partners
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s enterprise strategy
- Support the preparation of external financial statements, MD&A, AIF, and associated documentation in both English and French using Workiva
- Coordinate supporting documentation and disclosure checklists for public filings
- Support ongoing improvements in financial reporting tools and processes
- Collaborate on special projects, including the SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation
- Help define and implement short- and long-term departmental goals and operating procedures
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve overall financial performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance
- 7-10 years in a similar role
- Bilingual in French and English
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in process improvement and technical finance operations
- Comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in financial reporting platforms (e.g., Workiva) and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
