About the Role
We are seeking experienced and certified Crown Reach & Electric Counterbalance Forklift Operators to join a busy shipping and receiving department within a food manufacturing facility. The role includes moving packaged products, loading and unloading trailers, staging ingredients for production, and supporting operations as needed. Training will be provided for additional equipment (e.g., apple peeler).
Work is performed in cooler (+5°C) and freezer (-20°C) environments. Operators will move in and out of these areas throughout the shift but will not be stationed inside the freezer for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities

Operate Crown Reach and Electric Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently

Move packaged products from production to designated storage areas

Load and unload trailers in compliance with MOL, GMP, HACCP, and CTPAT standards

Inspect pallets for damage and ensure proper labeling

Accurately document inventory movement using WMS

Stage ingredients and packaging to support continuous production flow

Assist production staff when required

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Requirements

Valid certification for both Crown Reach and Electric Counterbalance forklifts

Minimum 2 years of experience operating both machines

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (most lifting done with forklifts)

Comfortable working in cold environments

Gear provided: freezer jacket, gloves, sweater

Steel-toe safety shoes required (hooded sweater or toque recommended)
