Job Overview
We are looking for dependable and hard-working Construction Crew Members to support landscape and hardscape projects. This is a hands-on role suited for individuals with solid construction experience who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team. Please note that while the role may involve operating a skid steer at times, this is not a primary operator position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform landscape and hardscape construction tasks on active job sites
- Assist with base preparation, grading, compaction, and material placement
- Support skid steer operations as required (not a dedicated operator role)
- Follow direction from the Lead Operator and Project Supervisor
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work site
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
- Work extended hours and weekends when required to meet project timelines
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape construction and/or hardscaping
- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of non-commercial driving experience and a clean abstract
- Strong work ethic; dependable and reliable
- Experience operating a skid steer
- Solid understanding of hardscape construction practices
- Ability to report daily to the office (not on a bus route); workday typically begins at 7:00 a.m. sharp
- Physically able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work long hours and occasional weekends as required
Education
- No formal education required
- Construction-related training and experience are considered an asset
