We’re working with a well-established precision manufacturer in Oakville that specializes in metal components and sub-assemblies. If you’re an experienced CNC Operator who enjoys working with tight tolerances, large parts, and quality-driven production — this could be a great fit.
They’ve built a strong reputation for delivering high-value, cost-effective products and have invested in modern equipment and a collaborative shop environment. Now they’re looking to add a skilled CNC Operator to the team.
What You’ll Be Doing

Setting up and operating HAAS 1600 CNC Horizontal Milling machines

Setting up tooling according to work instructions

Working with G & M codes and understanding CNC programs

Holding tight tolerances (within .001”) and ensuring parts meet drawing specs

Reading and interpreting work orders and technical drawings
-
Working with heavy gauge steel and large components
-
Performing daily machine and safety checks (including lifting devices)

Managing more than one machine when required in a fast-paced environment

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-first workspace
What They’re Looking For
-
5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines
(Strong operators with slightly less experience may still be considered) -
Comfortable using precision measuring equipment

Strong math and mechanical drawing skills

College or technical trade school education preferred

Forklift and jib/overhead crane experience is an asset
-
Physically able to lift 5–23 kg regularly
-
Able to work independently and safely in a busy production environment

Clear written and verbal communication in English
