Fuze HR Solutions is partnering with a global technology leader in industrial welding solutions to recruit Area Sales Manager for a well-established territory in Southwestern Ontario.

Our client is an international organization with operations in over 100 countries, known for delivering high-quality, application-driven welding technologies across industries such as automotive, manufacturing, and industrial production. Their solutions are highly engineered, consultative, and customized—this is not transactional sales.

This opportunity is ideal for a technically minded sales professional who thrives in a field-based, consultative environment and is motivated by both relationship management and new business development.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of an established and active territory covering Southwestern Ontario (approximately Milton to Windsor). The role includes inheriting an existing book of business while continuing to grow the territory through new customer acquisition.

Ontario-based sales professionals operate with a high degree of independence and are expected to bring strong technical curiosity, customer-facing confidence, and a solution-oriented mindset.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage and grow sales of industrial welding systems, solutions, and services across your assigned territory
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer applications and recommending tailored welding solutions
  • Prepare system configurations, solution packages, and quotes aligned to customer requirements and ROI objectives
  • Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, demonstrations, and presentations
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical, service, and support teams
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer open houses as required
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting data using a Microsoft-based CRM system
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making

What You Bring

  • Experience in technical, consultative B2B sales, ideally within:
    • Welding equipment or welding solutions
    • Capital equipment, industrial machinery, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex products and applications
  • Comfort engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including executives, engineers, production managers, and end users
  • Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close solution-based sales
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems
  • A professional, customer-first mindset with a high level of accountability
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend significant time on the road

  • Comprehensive onboarding and training program

  • Ongoing access to internal technical and support teams

Work Environment

  • Office location: Mississauga, ON
  • Primarily field-based role with regular customer travel
  • Office presence required when not traveling (no formal work-from-home policy)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with commission-based incentive plan (OTE approximately $100,000+)
