Accounts Payable Analyst (6-Month Temporary Assignment)

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst for a 6-month temporary assignment for one of our large retail clients located in Richmond Hill, ON. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented AP professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- High-volume invoice processing (up to 100 invoices per day)
- Perform 2-way matching of PO invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
- Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders as needed
- Prepare and support AP-related reporting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong experience with PO invoices and 2-way matching
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
Technical Skills (Assets)
- Experience with JDA / AS400
- Experience with Oracle
