What are the Responsibilities?
The Accounting Analyst will be a key member of our client’s finance & accounting team, supporting operations across both Western and Eastern divisions. Your mission: keep numbers sharp, reports insightful, and processes smooth.
  • Own month-end and year-end accounting for Vancouver operations
  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Track and reconcile inventory (finished goods, packaging, processing materials)
  • Partner with Purchasing and Supply Chain to validate material costs and usage
  • Be the go-to accounting expert for Vancouver—and Taber, when needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize ERP systems (Navision)
  • Monitor budget uploads and support forecasting and planning
  • Assist in inventory counts and cost analysis across multiple sites
  • Produce financial and management reports with actionable insights
  • Support production teams with targeted financial analysis
What are the Requirements?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong grasp of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls
  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP savvy (Navision experience is a plus!)
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
