What are the Responsibilities?
- As a Power Engineer, you will be the backbone of safe, reliable, high‑quality production. You’ll be trusted with hands‑on mechanical responsibilities and the operation of essential plant equipment. If you love autonomy and lack of micromanagement, the night shift offers exactly that!
- Maintenance, Safety & Compliance
- Apply mechanical expertise to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore optimal operation
- Perform complex corrective & preventative maintenance
- Follow all safety policies, GMPs, PPE requirements, and SQF standards
- Keep accurate daily documentation and maintenance logs
- Production Line Support
- Operate and adjust production line equipment
- Execute preventative maintenance and report issues promptly
- Maintain appropriate raw material levels on assigned machinery
- Ensure all products meet strict quality and production standards
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with Operations and Maintenance Managers to discuss equipment performance
- Stay aligned with daily production goals
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with additional duties as required to keep production running smoothly
What are the Requirements?
- We’re looking for someone who not only meets the technical requirements but also thrives in a collaborative, high‑standards environment.
- Class 4 Power Engineer certification (required)
- 2+ years of production/line machine experience
- 2+ years working in a food & beverage manufacturing environment (or similar – cosmetics, pharma, brewing, bottling, etc.)
- Experience in environments with preventative, predictive & reactive maintenance
- Strong attention to detail with excellent record‑keeping skills
- Clear communication skills—verbal & written
- Ability to multitask, problem‑solve, and adapt quickly
- Comfortable with Gmail and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- High craftsmanship and eagerness to learn and expand your skills
