A manufacturing operation is looking for an experienced Lathe Machinist to support precision production work. The role involves hands-on machining, setup, and inspection of components in a shop environment where accuracy, consistency, and safety are essential.

Operate lathe equipment to machine, shape, and finish metal components

Perform setups and prepare machines for production runs

Check finished parts against specifications using measuring instruments

Make adjustments to machine settings to maintain quality output

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions

Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe

Follow established safety and production procedures at all times

Previous experience operating CNC or manual lathe machines

Strong mechanical understanding and practical machining ability

Comfortable using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Ability to interpret technical drawings and dimensional requirements

Reliable attention to detail and quality control mindset

Able to work rotating shifts if required (days, afternoons, nights)
