Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer
We are seeking an Intermediate Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on civil, geological, and geotechnical project..
This role offers exposure to a variety of infrastructure and resource-based projects, with opportunities for fieldwork, technical development, and collaboration with senior professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and participate in geotechnical and hydrogeological site investigations
- Perform geotechnical and/or civil engineering analyses and design
- Support and oversee construction activities as required
- Coordinate technical work across multiple disciplines
- Contribute to project management activities (scope, schedule, deliverables)
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and project documentation
- Assist in developing schedules and project planning materials
- Mentor and support junior staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
- Eligible for or registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with PEO
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
- Mining, hydropower, and/or infrastructure projects
- Geotechnical analysis and design
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to participate in fieldwork and travel (domestic and international)
