About the Role
The Senior Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle of construction projects, from pre-construction through to completion. This role requires a results-driven leader with a strong track record of successfully delivering large-scale ICI projects while managing multiple stakeholders.
Project Portfolio
Projects typically range from $20M to $100M+ and include:
- Community centres
- Hockey arenas and aquatic facilities
- Long-term care and healthcare buildings
- Fire stations and police facilities
- Libraries and educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities)
- Affordable housing developments
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle ICI construction projects from initiation to closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk management
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Contribute to project strategy, including Design-Build and P3 delivery models
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and communication throughout project execution
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of ICI construction experience, including 8+ years in project management
- Proven experience delivering projects in the $20M–$100M range
- Demonstrated stability and progression in previous roles
- P.Eng. designation is an asset, but not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in deadline-driven environments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with strong technical understanding
- Experience with Design-Build or Public-Private Partnerships (P3) is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management software
