Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright

Locations: Brampton & Mississauga, ON
Full-Time | 2-Week Shift Rotation

Pay & Benefits (Top Priority!)

Both Locations – 2-Week Rotation Shifts:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Overtime: lots of OT- after 8 hrs./ day = 1.5x pay
Shift Premiums: Afternoon $1.10/hr, Night $1.20/hr
Health & Dental: 100% employer-paid
Annual increase 2.5%–5% after 1 year (based on company performance)

Brampton Facility (Non-Unionized)

Licensed: $38.07 (start) → $39.02 (6 months) → $40.83 (1 year)

Unlicensed: $37.03 (start) → $38.07 (6 months) → $39.82 (1 year)

Mississauga Facility (Unionized)

Licensed: $43.41/hr (annual increase 2.5%–5%)

Unlicensed: $36.63 (start) → $37.61 (6 months) → $39.74 (1 year)

What You’ll Be Doing

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery

Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication

Operate and maintain boilers and steam systems, record logs

Repair forklifts (hydraulics, fuel systems)

Monitor starch operations for quality and accurate records

Conduct minor electrical work, read schematics

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum Grade 12 diploma

Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic license preferred

Stationary Engineer Certificate (asset)

Electrical experience (asset)

Experience with preventive maintenance programs

Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Hands-on experience with:

Gearboxes, drives, bearings, rollers

Hydraulic & pneumatic systems

Conveyor systems and high-speed production lines

Enjoys hands-on mechanical work and troubleshooting
