Overview
A growing provider of specialized facility and industrial infrastructure solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support business development initiatives across Canada.
This position is based out of Mississauga, Ontario, with regular travel to client sites across Canada.
The role focuses on identifying project opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering consultative solutions to organizations operating in manufacturing, industrial, and controlled-environment facilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership while engaging directly with customers to understand operational needs and recommend customized technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial and manufacturing sectors
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers involved in facility expansion, upgrades, or specialized environments
  • Generate and qualify project opportunities involving modular infrastructure and controlled environments
  • Build long-term partnerships with clients to support sustained revenue growth
Consultative Sales
  • Meet with clients to understand technical, operational, and facility requirements
  • Recommend tailored solutions that align with project specifications and operational goals
  • Prepare and present proposals and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Collaborate internally to ensure proposed solutions align with project capabilities
Market Expansion
  • Support growth initiatives in emerging sectors requiring specialized facility solutions
  • Identify new applications and industries where modular and controlled-environment systems may be required
  • Participate in industry trade shows, networking events, and client meetings
Client Engagement
  • Conduct in-person meetings and site visits to evaluate project needs and strengthen client relationships
  • Travel within Canada to support new business development and project discussions
  • Occasional travel outside the province may be required
Qualifications
Required
  • Experience in technical, industrial, or solution-based sales
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build client relationships
  • Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events
Preferred
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial, or facility development environments
  • Exposure to modular construction, controlled environments, or engineered facility solutions
  • Candidates currently in inside sales roles seeking a transition into a field sales position may also be considered
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $65,000
