About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Controls Designer to join our automation engineering team in Windsor. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about designing electrical and automation systems. You’ll work closely with mechanical designers and production teams to ensure high-quality schematics and automation solutions are delivered on time and meet industry standards.

Wage: $32 – $43/hr (based on experience)

What You’ll Do
Design and develop electrical and pneumatic schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
Support automation and drive system projects
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
Collaborate with mechanical designers, production teams, and other engineers
Assist with system integration, including safety and IT interfaces
Deliver accurate, on-time electrical drawings for manufacturing equipment

What We’re Looking For
5+ years of hands-on Controls Design experience (senior level)
3–5 years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical (required)
Strong ability to independently design electrical and pneumatic systems
Practical, hands-on mindset with minimal training required
Technical diploma or degree in a related field (preferred)
Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider systems (highly desirable)
