Project Manager – Building Restoration, GTA

Position Overview
The Project Manager within the Building Restoration Consulting Team is responsible for overseeing all phases of a project from design to construction and delivery, under the support and guidance of a Project Principal. This role requires a proactive, client-focused mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding engineering services.

- Knowledge Development: Continuously develop technical expertise and remain current with industry trends and best practices.
Technical Responsibilities
- Manage restoration projects from the initial design phase through to completion.
- Lead proposal development, including defining scope, estimating fees, scheduling, and planning resources.
- Conduct site investigations and evaluations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports with findings, project recommendations, and direction for the construction phase.
- Develop restoration designs, including scopes of work, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Chair client meetings and communicate updates, changes, and key project milestones to contractors and design professionals.
- Manage the tendering process and perform contract administration, including bid preparation, contractor selection, and review of invoices and change orders.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, codes, and emerging best practices.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
