Day Shift: Monday to Friday – 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday – 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday – 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM
(Afternoon shift candidates must complete training on day shift)
Job Summary
We are hiring experienced TIG Welders / Fitters for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Oakville. We are seeking CWB Certified Production Welders with a minimum of 7 years of heavy industrial welding experience.
This is a long-term temp-to-perm opportunity with competitive pay and steady shifts.
Key Responsibilities – Welder / Fitter
- Perform TIG welding and GMAW welding in a production setting
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Perform fitting, tacking, and welding to CWB standards
- Operate in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Work safely around forklifts and overhead cranes
- Follow WHMIS and Health & Safety regulations
- Complete quality inspections per technical specifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of production welding experience
- Valid CWB Welding Certification (Required)
- Welding Certificate or Diploma
- Strong experience in heavy material welding (No light gauge, truck/trailer welding)
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- WHMIS Certification
- Ability to lift 20–40 lbs (light/medium industrial work)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Asset Skills
