A leading healthcare services organization in British Columbia is urgently seeking reliable, customer-focused, and operationally strong individuals to support multiple high-volume clinics across the Interior and South Okanagan regions. These roles are critical to maintaining clinic operations and ensuring patients continue to receive timely, high-quality service.
These are short-term contract opportunities with the potential for longer-term engagement based on performance and operational needs.
Position 1: Triage / Customer Service Representative
Hourly Rate (BC Market): $23–$26/hour
Role Overview
The Triage / Customer Service Representative is a front-facing role responsible for supporting patients and clinic operations at the point of entry. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal training.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival in a professional and compassionate manner
- Perform basic triage and intake, directing patients to the appropriate service areas
- Answer general inquiries in person and by phone
- Support appointment flow and manage waiting areas
- Assist with basic administrative and clerical tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety standards, and privacy guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, healthcare reception, or front-desk experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in high-pressure environments
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with data systems

Position 2: Runner / Support Services Assistant
Hourly Rate (BC Market): $25–$29/hour
Role Overview
The Runner / Support Services Assistant provides essential behind-the-scenes operational support to ensure clinic workflows run smoothly. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a physically active, fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport samples, supplies, and documentation between clinic areas
- Support clinical and administrative staff with day-to-day operational needs
- Maintain organization of work areas, supply rooms, and common spaces
- Assist with basic setup and breakdown of clinic areas
- Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare support, logistics, or operations preferred
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable and able to follow procedures accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ideal Candidate
- Highly reliable and proactive
- Physically capable of light lifting and frequent movement
- Able to take direction and work independently when required
- Available to start immediately
Optional Role (As Needed): Phlebotomist
Experienced phlebotomists may be considered to support higher-volume clinics. Candidates must have prior hands-on experience, relevant certifications, and the ability to step into a fast-paced clinical environment with minimal onboarding.
